Blitz wont even run!Blitz requires both DirectX 7 and Internet Explorer 5 installed to run. Suitable versions of these can be found on the Blitz CD, or from the microsoft website at http://www.microsoft.com
Blitz has been thoroughly tested on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows 2000. Blitz will NOT run on Windows NT versions less than 4, as these do not support DirectX 7.Blitz programs run very slowly.
Blitz features an integrated debugger that is useful when you're writing programs. However, it also has the side effect of slowing down programs. To see programs running at top speed, make sure the debugger is disabled. To do this, un-check the debug enabled item in the program menu.
You may also be experiencing hardware driver related problems. Unfortunately, the only real solution to such problems is to contact your hardware manufacturer for a driver update. It's also a good idea to keep your version of DirectX up-to-date.Programming is too hard!

A good place to start if you're new to programming is by looking at other peoples programs. There are plenty of examples in the samples directory for you to play with.
The Blitz Basic homepage also runs a discussion group packed full of friendly and experienced programmers who are more than happy to help out with any programming problems you might have.None of the above - HELP!
